Living Our Lives Our Castle In The Sky.

the formidable william -bill- lezzer will be hosting a weekly series
of "tantalus team time trial" beginning the morning of janaury 4, 2015.

preliminary information is as follows: "last year TradeWind Cycling Team had the pleasure of participating in a time trial series created and organized by Mr. Wonderful, Will Mather. will's idea was to create a friendly yet competitive series that would help prepare for the 2014 race season. as you obviously know, will is now in england and even though I offered my couch, he will not be back to host the Second Annual Lagoon Drive Time Trial Series. with that said, I have decided to host the 2015 series with some minor adjustments.

this year, instead of holding the weekly event at lagoon drive, I have created a Tantalus TEAM Time Trial Series. rumors have been going around about possibly adding this race to our annual calendar, so why not give it a whirl.

my idea (with input from multiple friends and other riders) is to host the event every sunday morning, for six weeks, starting the first sunday of the new year. every sunday morning I will have time slots prepared for each team of two. you will know your teams start time the night before each race. much like the Tantalus Time Trial, each team will start in 90 second intervals. you and your teammate will start at the same time, one will ascend Round Top Drive, the other Tantalus. I will be waiting at the top to record your times, which will be a combined total.

I will be including prizes after the last race to those teams who kept the same teammate the entire series, while also attending every event. with that said, if your teammate can not participate one week, I will still record your individual time. once again, the idea of this event is to help prepare everyone for the upcoming season, which will hopefully lead into the first TT of the year. it could also kick start any of those "New Years Resolutions" while helping melt away the pounds added up during the holiday season! spread the word - the more the merrier!"
